When we say “empowerment,” we mean it literally. At CAFCO, we train people not just to survive — but to lead, thrive, and uplift others.
From caregiver workshops in Canada to leadership development in Sierra Leone, our training programs are reshaping what it means to serve underserved communities.
What We Teach (and Why)
Our curriculum doesn’t just teach skills. It teaches confidence. Participants learn:
- Community-based caregiving
- First-aid and emergency response
- Psychosocial first aid
- Youth mentorship and life planning
But just as important are the soft skills: communication, empathy, and cultural sensitivity.
Real People, Real Impact
Meet Florence. A mother of two in Buchanan, Liberia, who joined CAFCO’s caregiver training with zero experience. Now? She’s a certified home care assistant helping her neighbors with health needs — and teaching others what she’s learned.
“CAFCO didn’t just give me skills,” she says, “They gave me purpose.”
The Ripple Effect
Every person we train goes on to impact at least five others. That’s exponential change. And it’s happening in both developed cities and remote villages — because dignity has no zip code.
If you’re passionate about uplifting others, there’s a seat for you in our next cohort. Let’s build change, one leader at a time.
