In a world increasingly divided by borders, CAFCO dares to do the opposite — connect. Rooted in both Canada and Africa, our foundation exists not only to serve but to unite diverse communities under the banner of shared dignity and opportunity.
A Mission Beyond Geography
CAFCO’s work extends beyond the map. Whether it’s supporting elderly residents in Pierrefonds through home care or empowering young women in Monrovia with mentorship and training, our programs are bridges — carefully built, compassionately maintained.
Every caregiver we train. Every student we help cross continents in our exchange programs. Every workshop we run on mental health. It all adds up to one mission: to build a world where equity isn’t a dream, it’s daily life.
Stories from the Field
Just last year, a young exchange student named Aissatou traveled from Dakar to Montreal as part of our cultural learning cohort. She returned not only fluent in French and English, but fluent in empathy — inspired to launch a youth literacy initiative in her home village.
In another corner of our mission, Mr. Williams, a senior living alone in Quebec, found relief and human connection through CAFCO’s home care services. His words?
“You didn’t just bring food and medicine. You brought me peace.”
Why This Work Matters
Access to mental health care, basic healthcare, and cultural opportunity shouldn’t depend on your postal code or passport. That’s the heart of CAFCO.
And we’re just getting started.
